Pennsylvania Statutes Title 53 P.S. Municipal and Quasi-Municipal Corporations § 12195. Qualifications of officers

All officers elected by the qualified voters of any such city shall be residents thereof at the time of their nomination and election, and shall reside therein during their term of service.  The mayor and city treasurer shall have been citizens and inhabitants of the State for five years, and residents of the city three years, next before their election.
