Except as otherwise provided by an ordinance adopted pursuant to the provisions of NRS 244.207 the district attorney shall, on or before the 5th working day of each month, file in the office of the county treasurer an account in writing, certified by oath, of all money received by the district attorney in his or her official capacity during the preceding month and shall, at the same time, pay that money to the county treasurer.
