§ 1.5. Framework facilitating the hiring and training of new State-employed pretrial services personnel to serve circuit courts or counties without existing pretrial services agencies. Notwithstanding anything in this Act to the contrary, the Office shall hire and train new State-employed pretrial services personnel to serve circuit courts or counties without existing pretrial services, as required by Section 1. Nothing in this amendatory Act of the 103rd General Assembly shall be constructed to invalidate, diminish, or otherwise interfere with any collective bargaining agreement or representation rights under the Illinois Public Labor Relations Act, if applicable.
