Illinois Statutes Chapter 725. Criminal Procedure § 185/1. Agencies; establishment; purpose

§ 1. Pretrial services shall be provided by a local pretrial services agency or the Office. The pretrial services agency shall provide the circuit court with accurate background data regarding the pretrial release of persons charged with felonies and effective supervision of compliance with the terms and conditions imposed on release.
