Texas Transportation Code - TRANSP § 453.453. Ballots;  Notice of Election Results

(a) At the election, the ballots shall be prepared to provide for voting for or against the proposition:  “Dissolution of (name of transit department).”

(b) The board shall send a certified copy of the order canvassing the election results to the Texas Department of Transportation and the comptroller and file a copy in the deed records of the county.
