Texas Transportation Code - TRANSP § 453.452. Election Procedures

(a) The provisions of Subchapter D   1 that relate to the notice and conduct of an election under that subchapter apply to an election to dissolve a transit department unless a different requirement is specified in this subchapter.

(b) The board shall send a notice of the election to the Texas Department of Transportation and the comptroller.
