(a) The commissioner shall notify the association of the existence of an impaired insurer not later than the third day after the date the commissioner gives notice of the designation of impairment. The association is entitled to a copy of any complaint seeking an order of receivership with a finding of insolvency against a member insurer at the time the complaint is filed with a court.
(b) On the board's request, the commissioner shall provide the association with a statement of the net direct written premiums of each member insurer.
