Texas Insurance Code - INS § 4055.011. Authority of Employee of Specialty License Holder

An employee of a specialty license holder may act as an agent with respect to the kinds of insurance the license holder is authorized to offer under this chapter only if the employee:

(1) is trained under Section 4055.012 to act individually on behalf of the license holder;

(2) acts on behalf of and under the supervision of the license holder; and

(3) is not compensated based primarily on the amount of insurance sold by the employee under this chapter.
