(a) Except as provided by Subsection (b), if the association notifies a claimant under Section 2210.573(d)(1) or (2) that the association has accepted coverage for a claim in full or has accepted coverage for a claim in part, the association shall pay the accepted claim or accepted portion of the claim not later than the 10th day after the date notice is made.
(b) If payment of the accepted claim or accepted portion of the claim is conditioned on the performance of an act by the claimant, the association shall pay the claim not later than the 10th day after the date the act is performed.
