Texas Health and Safety Code - HEALTH & SAFETY § 62.001. Objective of the State Child Health Plan

The principal objective of the state child health plan is to provide primary and preventative health care to low-income, uninsured children of this state, including children with special health care needs, who are not served by or eligible for other state assisted health insurance programs.
