Texas Health and Safety Code - HEALTH & SAFETY § 401.212. Monitoring, Maintenance, and Emergency Measures

The commission may undertake monitoring, maintenance, and emergency measures that are necessary to protect the public health and safety and the environment in connection with low-level radioactive waste and property for which it has assumed custody.
