(a) Application for license shall be made to the department. Licenses shall be valid, unless sooner revoked or suspended, until December 31st of each year for one year and shall be renewable on or before expiration, upon application and payment of the fee required by this chapter.
(b) Commencing January 1, 2015, licenses shall be valid, unless sooner revoked or suspended, until December 31, 2017, and shall be renewable thereafter every three (3) years.
