No individual, partnership, corporation, association or other group shall solicit the subscription of any magazine within this Commonwealth by the use of door-to-door salesmen without first obtaining a license from the Attorney General; provided that the provisions of this act shall not apply to any charitable or non-profit organization which solicits the subscription of magazines by the use of door-to-door salesmen.
