Pennsylvania Statutes Title 73 P.S. Trade and Commerce § 1983. Appraisal costs

Any jeweler who conducts appraisals of pieces of jewelry for a fee shall charge a flat rate. No jeweler may make an appraisal in which his appraisal cost or fee is based upon the value or apparent value of the item sought to be appraised.
