From and after the passing of this act, the secretary of the commonwealth, the secretary of the land office, 1 and surveyor general, be, and they or any two of them hereby are constituted and appointed a board of property, vested with the same powers and required to perform the same duties which were vested in and exercised by the board of property, under the first section of the act entitled “An act for instituting a board of property, and for other purposes therein mentioned,” 2 passed January 8, 1791, or by any subsequent law.
