The secretary of the land office, 1 the receiver general, the surveyor general, and master of the rolls, 2 for the time being, or any three of them, shall be and they are hereby constituted and appointed a board of property, with authority to exercise all the powers, under the same rules and regulations, as granted to the board of property instituted by an act of the general assembly of this commonwealth, passed April 5, 1782, entitled “An act to vest certain powers in the president of this state, together with the other officers therein named, and for other purposes therein mentioned.” 3 And the secretary of the land office is hereby empowered to appoint days of hearing and grant citations, at the reasonable request of any person or persons applying for the same, or otherwise, as the case may require.
