Pennsylvania Statutes Title 53 P.S. Municipal and Quasi-Municipal Corporations § 895.103. Methodology

Notwithstanding any provisions of the act of August 31, 1971 (P.L. 398, No. 96),  1 known as the County Pension Law, to the contrary, in performing an actuarial study under this act or the act of December 6, 1972 (P.L. 1383, No. 293),  2 entitled “An act requiring municipal pension systems to have an actuarial investigation of the fund made by an actuary who shall report his findings to the Department of Community Affairs,” municipalities and counties may utilize any reasonable actuarial assumptions or methodologies provided for in this act.
