Pennsylvania Statutes Title 53 P.S. Municipal and Quasi-Municipal Corporations § 777.1. Regional police department retirement system established prior to effective date of amendatory act;  eligibility and benefit provisions

Notwithstanding any provision of this act, a regional police department retirement system established prior to the effective date of this amendatory act may retain the eligibility and benefit provisions specified in the retirement system's pension plan on the effective date of this amendatory act.  Any subsequent modification of the eligibility or benefit provisions of the regional police department retirement system's pension plan shall be made under the provisions of this amendatory act.
