Pennsylvania Statutes Title 53 P.S. Municipal and Quasi-Municipal Corporations § 68003. Organization, secretary, health officer and inspectors

The members of the board of health shall annually organize by electing a chairman from among the members of the board of health, a secretary who may be a member of the board of health and a health officer and inspectors who shall not be members of the board of health.  The secretary, health officer and inspectors shall each receive a salary as determined by the board of supervisors and shall serve for a period of one year or until their successors may be appointed and qualified.
