Pennsylvania Statutes Title 53 P.S. Municipal and Quasi-Municipal Corporations § 67102. Collection

The board of supervisors may collect and remove, by contract or otherwise, ashes, garbage, solid waste and other refuse materials and recyclables and prescribe penalties for the enforcement thereof. Any contract with refuse haulers may be made for a period not exceeding five years. This limitation does not apply to contracts with any other county or municipal corporation.
