Pennsylvania Statutes Title 53 P.S. Municipal and Quasi-Municipal Corporations § 4628. Traps for bath tubs, water closets, etc.

Every sink, bath-tub, basin, water-closet, slop-hopper, dental cuspidor, and all outlets of chemical or experimental laboratory tables, or any fixture having a waste-pipe specified, defined herein or not, must be furnished with a trap, which shall be placed as close as practicable to the fixture that it serves, and in no case shall they be more than one foot from said fixture.  The waste-pipe from one fixture must not be connected with a trap of another.
