Pennsylvania Statutes Title 53 P.S. Municipal and Quasi-Municipal Corporations § 42008. Duties of heads of departments and offices

The head of every department and office, employing persons entitled under the provisions of this act to receive compensation, shall certify to the board all persons so employed, and the amount of salary or wages which is paid to said employe, together with dismissals, resignations or terminations of service, and from the records of their office or department shall furnish such other relative information as the board shall require.
