Pennsylvania Statutes Title 53 P.S. Municipal and Quasi-Municipal Corporations § 42002. Authority to create system

All cities of the third class may create a retirement system for officers and employes of said cities, whether or not such officers and employes are protected by pension authorized by the laws of this Commonwealth and in force at the time of the passage of this act, in the manner, under the conditions, and subject to the qualifications following:
