Pennsylvania Statutes Title 53 P.S. Municipal and Quasi-Municipal Corporations § 41604. Ineligibility;  forfeiture of office;  misdemeanor in office

Any person convicted of a crime or offense involving moral turpitude shall be ineligible to assume any city office, position or employment in a city governed pursuant to this act, and upon conviction thereof, while in office, shall forfeit his office.  Any person who shall violate any of the provisions of sections 601, 602 or   1 603 of this act   2 shall be guilty of a misdemeanor in office, and upon conviction thereof in a court of competent jurisdiction, shall forfeit his office.
