Pennsylvania Statutes Title 53 P.S. Municipal and Quasi-Municipal Corporations § 24942. Staircases for use of audience

All staircases for the use of the audience shall be enclosed with walls of brick or of fireproof materials, approved by the bureau of building inspection, in the stories through which they pass, and the opening to said staircases from each tier shall be the full width of said staircase.
