Pennsylvania Statutes Title 53 P.S. Municipal and Quasi-Municipal Corporations § 24196. Issuance of bonds for acquisition of lands or buildings

The city or borough council or the township supervisors or the township commissioners, as the case may be, or the county commissioners, may issue bonds for the purpose of acquiring lands or buildings for parks, playgrounds, playfields, gymnasiums, swimming pools, public baths, or indoor recreation centers and for the equipment thereof.
