Pennsylvania Statutes Title 53 P.S. Municipal and Quasi-Municipal Corporations § 16491. Notice to owners by advertisement;  retention of award

If any owner or lessee of ground taken cannot be found, notice of the taking and valuation of his land shall be given by advertisement in two daily papers published in Philadelphia six times, and in the Legal Intelligencer twice, and the amount awarded in such case to the owner or lessee shall remain in the city treasury until such owner shall produce the decree of the court having jurisdiction in the premises, ordering the said moneys to be paid to him or his legal representatives.
