Pennsylvania Statutes Title 53 P.S. Municipal and Quasi-Municipal Corporations § 12324. Charge of grounds offered temporarily for playgrounds

The department of public welfare  1 may, on its own initiative, take charge of any grounds, with buildings thereon erected, the use of which is offered to it temporarily by individuals or corporations for the purpose of using such grounds for public playgrounds and recreation activities.  It may assume the charge and care of school playgrounds during vacation periods if so requested by resolution of the proper school authorities.
