Pennsylvania Statutes Title 40 P.S. Insurance § 1600.401. Basic property insurance assessment

In order to provide for the payment of the principal of and interest on bonds of the authority, issued pursuant to section 306 of this act,  1 an assessment is hereby levied on each insurer which is a member of the Industry Placement Facility. The amount of such assessment shall be two per cent of the aggregate gross premiums received by such insurer for policies of basic property insurance, or any component thereof, including homeowners and commercial multiple peril policies, written within this Commonwealth.
