On or before the tenth day of July of each year, the school directors of each district shall present to the Secretary of Education a statement of the amount expended during the school year previous to such first day of July for instruction in approved local or joint career and technical industrial, career and technical family and consumer sciences, career and technical marketing and distributive occupational or career and technical agricultural schools or departments. On the basis of such a statement the Secretary of Education, as the executive officer of the State Board of Career and Technical Education, shall pay such school districts and joint school districts such reimbursement for the previous school year as is provided for in this act.
