Oregon Revised Statutes Elections § 260.234

(1) A filing officer having reason to believe that a violation of an election law or rule for which a civil penalty may be imposed under ORS 260.232 has occurred shall proceed promptly as though the officer had received a complaint under ORS 260.345 and, not later than two years following the date the violation is alleged to have occurred, shall:

(2) Not later than 90 calendar days after receiving payment for a penalty imposed under ORS 260.232 or receiving other information in response to a notification under subsection (1) of this section, the Secretary of State shall send a notice to the person stating whether the response or payment received is sufficient.
