New York Consolidated Laws, Uniform Commercial Code - UCC § 11-101. Definitions

As used in this Article 11:

(a) The term “Original Article 9” means Article 9 of the uniform commercial code as enacted by chapter five hundred fifty-three of the laws of nineteen hundred sixty-two and as amended by chapter eight hundred ninety-nine of the laws of nineteen hundred seventy.

(b) The term “Revised Article 9” means Article 9 of the uniform commercial code as amended by the act enacting this Article.
