The corporation counsel shall cause one of the maps or plans, so transmitted to him, to be filed in the office of the register of the county, or if there be no such register, then in the office of the county clerk of the county in which the property covered by the map is situated. The map, hereinafter denominated the third map, being the second of the two transmitted to the corporation counsel, shall be disposed of as provided in section sixty-five of this chapter.
