Nevada Revised Statutes Title 58. Energy; Public Utilities and Similar Entities § 703.320. Notice and hearing: Duty of Commission to provide notice of certain pending matters; regulations regarding notice; hearing required in certain pending matters; power of Commission to dispense with hearing in certain pending matters

1. In any matter pending before the Commission, if a hearing is required by a specific statute or is otherwise required by the Commission, the Commission shall give notice of the pendency of the matter to all persons entitled to notice of the hearing. The Commission shall by regulation specify:

In any other matter pending before the Commission, the Commission may dispense with a hearing and act upon the matter pending unless, within 10 days after the date of the notice of pendency, a person entitled to notice of the hearing files with the Commission a request that the hearing be held. If such a request for a hearing is filed, the Commission shall give at least 10 days' notice of the hearing.
