Nevada Revised Statutes Title 48. Water § 539.390. Authorization for improvements at election; levy and collection of assessments

If the special assessment or certificates or notes of indebtedness and construction of the proposed works are authorized at the election, the local board shall levy such assessments or, as the case may be, shall proceed to the levying of annual assessments for the payment of interest and the redemption of certificates of indebtedness or notes. A list of such assessments or the first annual assessment, if to be made that year, shall be delivered to the treasurer of the district and entered by the treasurer in the assessment book or books thereof, and such assessment or assessments, and the collection thereof, shall thereafter take the course of assessments of the district as provided in this chapter.
