Any person who knowingly falsifies any information or certification on an application filed with the Department for a commercial driver's license or learner's permit is guilty of a misdemeanor and, in addition to any criminal penalty which may be imposed on the person, shall be punished as provided in regulations adopted by the Department pursuant to NRS 483.908.
