Within 10 days after the conviction of any person who holds a commercial driver's license issued by another jurisdiction for a violation of a state law or local ordinance relating to motor vehicle traffic control, other than a parking violation, committed while operating a commercial motor vehicle, the Department shall provide notification of the conviction to the licensing authority of the jurisdiction which issued the license.
