Nevada Revised Statutes Title 20. Counties and Townships: Formation, Government and Officers § 248.060. Penalty for sheriff or jailer refusing to receive or arrest

If any sheriff or keeper of a jail shall willfully refuse to receive or arrest any person charged with a criminal offense, such sheriff or jailer is guilty of a gross misdemeanor.
