The board may invest or cause to be invested all money, whether federal, state, county or other, which may come into its possession under NRS 244A.455 to 244A.573, inclusive, in the manner provided by law for the investment of county funds, but any interest which may be earned on money provided by the State or by the Federal Government shall be added to and applied to the same purpose as the principal.
