1. The Office of Small Business Advocacy is hereby created within the Office of the Lieutenant Governor.
2. The Lieutenant Governor may, within the limits of money appropriated or authorized for such purpose, employ such personnel as are necessary to perform the functions and duties of the Office of Small Business Advocacy set forth in NRS 224.100 to 224.250, inclusive. To be employed by the Lieutenant Governor pursuant to this section, a person must have the necessary training and experience to perform the duties for which he or she is hired. An employee of the Office of Small Business Advocacy is in the unclassified service of the State and serves at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor.
3. A state agency may cooperate with and assist the Office of Small Business Advocacy in the performance of its duties and functions.
