Nevada Revised Statutes Title 14. Procedure in Criminal Cases § 171.144. Breaking open door or window: Retaking person arrested

To retake a person arrested who has escaped or been rescued, the person pursuing may break open an outer or inner door or window of a dwelling house, structure or other place of concealment, if, after notice of his or her intention, the person pursuing is refused admittance.
