New Jersey Statutes Title 54. Taxation 54 § 40A-63

There is hereby established in the State Treasury a special fund to be known as the “Fire Prevention and Public Safety Fund.” The fund shall consist of all monies recovered as penalties under section 7 of this act. 1 The monies shall be deposited to the credit of the fund and shall, in addition to any other monies made available for such purpose, be made available to the director to support fire safety and prevention programs.
