Nothing herein shall require a landlord who has heretofore complied with all provisions of P.L.1974, c. 50 (C. 46:8-27 et seq.) or the “Hotel and Multiple Dwelling Law” (P.L.1967, c. 76, C. 55:13A-1 et seq.), or both, applicable to any building or project to register the building or project again pursuant to this amendatory and supplementary act. Whenever, after the effective date of this amendatory and supplementary act, any owner or landlord shall be required to file an amended certificate of registration pursuant to the provisions of this amendatory and supplementary act, the “Hotel and Multiple Dwelling Law,” or P.L.1974, c. 50, then that filing shall be in accordance with this amendatory and supplementary act. 1
