Upon certification by the board of trustees each employer shall make such contributions as are required in order to meet his financial obligations in the same manner and within the same period of time as is specified in the case of other employers where the act to which this act is a supplement 1 is adopted. In the event that the terminated pension fund was supported by more than 1 county, municipality or school district, the board of trustees shall certify to each such employer the employer's obligations on account of the active and retired employees of the specific county, municipality or school district.
