New Jersey Statutes Title 40. Municipalities and Counties 40 § 68-17

As used in this article “port authority” means The Port of New York Authority created by compact of April thirtieth, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one, between the states of New York and New Jersey,  1 with the consent of congress  2 and also any other public body or corporation of the state of New Jersey authorized by law to establish, maintain or operate a marine terminal.
