New Jersey Statutes Title 40. Municipalities and Counties 40 § 20-74.6

Nothing in this act  1 shall be construed to affect or change the amount of salary or other compensation paid, pursuant to the provisions of law in effect on the first day of April, one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven, to any member of any board of chosen freeholders, or any director thereof, unless such salary or other compensation be fixed, where permitted pursuant to the provisions of sections 40:20-72, 40:20-73 or 40:20-74 of the Revised Statutes as amended herein, by resolution in the manner herein prescribed.
