New Jersey Statutes Title 16. Corporations and Associations, Religious 16 § 2-3

Every such corporation shall have all the powers and liabilities of corporations enumerated in article 1 of chapter 1 of this title (§ 16:1-1 et seq.), and may make rules and regulations for the transaction of its business, number and election of its officers, the support of public worship, the calling to and dismissal from the pastoral office, the regulation of the proceedings of the board of trustees and the defining of the duties and powers of such board.
