The board of directors of any such association may elect 8 or more persons, of whom, when elected by the directors of any Young Men's Christian Association, no more than one-third shall be members of any one religious denomination, who, with the president of the association for the time being, shall constitute a board of trustees of such association, by name of, the trustees of:

as the case may be, the blank to be filled in according to the proper name of the association. The trustees shall hold office for life, or for such term as the constitution or by-laws of the association may provide and until their successors shall be elected by the board of directors.
A certified copy of the proceedings of any such election by the board of directors, and the written acceptance of such offices by the persons so elected, signed by their names and acknowledged before an officer authorized to take the acknowledgment of deeds in this State, shall be filed in the office of the clerk of the county in which the association is located, who shall forthwith record the same, for which service the county clerk shall be entitled to receive the fee provided in section 22:2-19 1 of the Title, Fees and Costs. Thereupon such trustees shall be a corporation by the name as aforesaid.
