New Jersey Statutes Appendix - Former Title 3A Administration of Estates Decedents and Others 3A § 6-22

Before receiving his letters, a testamentary guardian of a minor or mental incompetent shall give bond in accordance with section 3A:7-1 of this Title, unless he is relieved from doing so by direction of the will of the parent or spouse appointing the guardian. However, regardless of any such direction, he shall, with respect to property to which the ward is or shall be entitled from any source, other than the said parent or spouse or other than any policy of life insurance upon the life of the said parent or spouse, give bond in accordance with that section before exercising any authority or control over such property.
