New Jersey Statutes Appendix - Former Title 3A Administration of Estates Decedents and Others 3A § 31-8

During the month of January of each year, the public guardian shall present to the county court of his county, for its approval, an account of his receipts and disbursements, in each estate of which he is duly appointed guardian, and shall present therewith receipts and vouchers showing all moneys received and expended by him during the preceding year and the balance remaining in his hands in each of such estates.

The guardian may, upon the application of any person in interest, be required by the county court to settle his account in the manner prescribed for other guardians of mental incompetents.
